Santa Barbara Volleyball Club, having served the youth and juniors volleyball community in the area for more than thirty years, is ready for a return to the success of its roots with new leadership, new resources and a new attitude, and excited for what comes next for club volleyball in Santa Barbara.
Club Tryouts for Boys for all age divisions (13's-18's, rising 6th-12th grade boys) opens on Sunday, August 23, 2025.
SBVC also offers Pre-Tryout Open Gyms and Clinics for two weeks prior to Tryouts in August. Pre-Tryout Open Gyms and Clinics are opportunities for athletes interested in playing for SBVC during the upcoming club season to refine their techniques, showcase their skills, meet coaches, and get a sense of what the new SBVC is all about in advance of Club Tryouts - come join us!

Club Volleyball Tryouts for 6th-12th grade boys (13's-18's age divisions) will open on August 23, 2025. It is highly recommended all athletes attend the Primary Tryouts. Space is not guaranteed to remain past the first day. If you have a conflict with your age group tryouts time-slot, please reach out to SBVC leadership in advance of Tryouts. Please see below for further details on age groups, time slots, etc:
Primary Tryouts - Saturday August 23, 2025 (REVISED TIMES - AGAIN)
Due to the number of players in each division, and coaching availability, we shifted the 17s/18s to the early session and the 15s to the later session.
13's, 14's & 17's & 18's Age Division ... Sat August 23, 2025 ... 9:00a-10:30a @ UCSB Rob Gym
15's & 16's Age Division ... Sat August 23, 2025 ... 11:00a-12:30p @ UCSB Rob Gym
Make-Up Tryouts - By Appointment
All Make-Up Tryouts are by appointment beginning Sunday August 24, 2025.
